Pakalolo Management Services LLC has added former Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office special investigator Amanda Stonecipher to its expanding cannabis empire.
A division of Pakalolo Supply Co., PMS was started in 2018 to provide management and consulting services to the Alaska cannabis industry, according to a recent news release by Pakalolo.
Stonecipher will advise clients on security, inventory control, pre-renewal facility inspections, regulatory compliance, internal compliance systems and training on the state's Metrc tracking system.
Stonecipher previously managed the dispatch center for Fairbanks Airport Police and Fire, worked at the North Pole Police Department and was a safety trainer and security officer for Fort Knox Kinross gold mine. She graduated from the Fairbanks Community and Technical College Law Enforcement Academy in 2013 and joined AMCO as an enforcement officer in 2016.
“We are very excited to have Amanda join the Alaskan cannabis industry and the Pakalolo team. We have seen her professionalism, diligence and knowledge from the enforcement side of the industry and can’t wait to witness her skill set at work for Pakalolo and other licensees," Pakalolo Vice President Keenan Hollister said in the release.
Pakalolo's cultivation division was issued the state's first legal cannabis license on July 26, 2016 and the retail store made the first legal cannabis sale Oct. 28, 2016. A second store, Pakalolo Oceanside, was opened in downtown Anchorage at the end of December 2018.
